Brooklyn's Own: The Notorious A-Team is a tale of the rise and fall of one of New York City's most known regimes to date. Reaching its height during the 1980's, the ENY band of street disciples known as the A-Team sent shock waves of fear rippling through the urban community. What initially began as a black leadership to shelter broken slums slowly morphed into a diehard platoon of trouble doers on a mission to create a legacy like no other. Filled with unprecedented action and witty characters, this book captures a glimpse of East New York streets like no other. In an era of violence, money, drugs and sex, the A-Team toppled anything in their path, including the law. So notorious, they played a major role in the shaping of the TNT police division. Take a journey with the clique into a world of bravado, stylish attire, money and reign like no other. If there could be a word brewing in any of the members minds, it would undoubtedly have to be 'RESPECT'. Indeed, the word 'respect' swimming in their conscious resulted in them solidifying a reputation as NOTORIOUS!
