Will Kate convince Hannah she can play catch even though she is blind?
This beautifully illustrated story follows Kate, who is blind, through her day at school as she explains to Hannah how she sees through touching, smelling, tasting, and hearing. She shows Hannah how she can do many things through seeing things in her own way. Kids, age 5-8, will see the world differently and better understand all those who are visually impaired and blind.
Dawn Marie Hooks, a certified teacher of the blind and visually impaired, includes a brief section at the end of the book with information and engaging, interactive activities to teach young children about the five senses and blindness.Author Biography
