In 2017, she was a Residential Research Fellow with the University of Connecticut Humanities Institute's Humility and Conviction in Public Life project. In 2016, she was awarded the Australian Academy of the Humanities' Max Crawford Medal, Australia's most prestigious early-career award for achievement and promise in the humanities.
