When researching the content of this book, I was startled at how little young adults, teenagers in particular, knew about "How Work Works" when they entered the workforce. 'Work' is one of the top three choices we make in life. Work defines us. We know we must do it, and it's vital that we do. But we learn very little about "How Work Works" before starting our working life.

Each chapter could be a tome in itself so this book cannot be considered a definitive account of all aspects of a workplace, but provides enough factors to consider when becoming an employer or an employee.
