I knew that I had to make a change or I would be the next one to die. My family finally put their foot down and were done with me. The pain that I saw over and over on my friend's family's faces is something that always stuck with me. I decided on October 4, 2015 that I was going to change my life around or I was going to die trying. This book is a way for me to give back. To use what was once meant to destroy me to now help people in the same situation I was once in.
