Sing While You Work: A Guide for the Jewish Homemaker of Today - Paperback

by Pnina Baim (Author)

Busy is as busy does, but none of that busyness has anything on the Jewish woman of today. Never before in the history of Judaism has the Orthodox woman been called on to do so much for so many with so little at the same time. How can one person possibly manage her children, her husband, and her parents, along with the job that is needed to pay for everything?Pnina Baim has researched countless experts, tested (on herself) many theories, and found the best possible solutions to every situation, ranging from preparing for a job interview, staying healthy, raising children, to making Pesach simultaneously. This concise book will be a valuable asset to any homemaker in their quest to handling their myriad duties with dignity and enough energy left over to actually enjoy the home that they've created. Although this book was written with the Orthodox woman in mind, it is written in an accessible manner so that anyone who is interested in setting up a Jewish home can easily follow along. A glossary of terms is provided at the end of the book.
