Author Biography

Dario D'Angelo was born in 1968 near Catania, an eastern city on the island of Sicily, Italy. Raised in Rome, he majored in Nuclear Energy at the ITIS E. Fermi, in Frascati. After 2 years in the military, he was hired by IBM Italy. Dario's interest in philosophy burgeoned from his endless conversations with his dear weight-lifting instructor, Francesco Candi, during his years of training for regional and national amateur competitions. In 1997, Dario left Italy to accept a position as Software Engineer at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory, CA and moved to the beautiful town of Los Gatos, where he happily lives with his wife and three cats. He maintains an abiding passion for science, innovation, and literature.
