Dario's interest in philosophy burgeoned from his endless conversations with his dear weight-lifting instructor, Francesco Candi, during his years of training for regional and national amateur competitions. In 1997, Dario left Italy to accept a position as Software Engineer at the IBM Silicon Valley Laboratory, CA and moved to the beautiful town of Los Gatos, where he happily lives with his wife and three cats.
