Author Biography

I have always loved words. I would say I am a word artist, using the written and spoken word to express what I am feeling in each moment. From being a young girl I have always loved to journal, write stories, poems and open up to the possibilities of pen to paper. I have just been through the most traumatic experience of my life. After a serious amount of stress and sleeplessness I had a nervous breakdown which sent me into psychosis leading to a truly awful situation where I was caught up in the mental health system and got sectioned. I spent 10 days in a very scary mental hospital, once I had slept and started to recover from what had happened I knew I would write about about my experience, sharing openly from my heart to help my own healing process as well as supporting others. It took me 2 years to write my first book, this one took me 2 weeks, I simply could not hold it back. When a story has to be shared, it has to be shared. I have a calling. The call has been answered! My mission is to speak up, the share my truth, my stories and make positive change in the world. If I hadn't had the inner strength, courage, bravery and confidence to make videos, write about my experiences online and in my books I really don't think I would be here today.
