Never have to make a conscious decision. Never have to make the space for a creative thought. The ego robot makes it possible to do one thing and think about something else. No one ever judges you as bad or wrong for letting the ego robot run the show called your life.

Problems with the ego robot's automatic responses arise whenever it's crossed, betrayed, disappointed, disrespected, told no. This is because it always defaults to seeking vengeance. Overriding the predictable impulse to get even takes will, training and skill. It's where the rubber meets the road. The warrior's rare ability is to temporarily transcend the ego robot, a potent edge that enables performing at a higher, more strategic and powerful level.
