She also helped care for other ill and elderly family members over the years. She struggled with the stress and exhaustion of caregiving. She knows the pain and the heartbreak. She knows the physical and emotional toll caregiving takes. Susan has written two books and several articles on caregiving. She has been interviewed by a national magazine regarding her role as a caregiver. She understands the importance of caregivers taking care of themselves.
