Author Biography
Cynthia Batiste Brown is a new writer. She is affectionately referred to by many simply as "CB". She embarked on this writing venture after the death of a family member, for whom she wrote her first sonnet. After composing this sonnet, most of her written work has been primarily lyrical or dramatic poems and verses. Cynthia (or CB) writes a variety of poems that reflects the ups and downs of life and living, love and happiness, death, nature, sunrises and sunsets. Many of her poems showcase the beauty of the places she has enjoyed during her travels. Cynthia is a former accountant and airline professional who has traveled the U.S. and many destinations worldwide. She has relocated to east Georgia to enjoy the beauty of the region. This move has facilitated many of her writings.
