Overcoming an addiction and faced with the trauma of losing a son were some of his challenges. He encountered many obstacles while growing up as a child but managed to overcome many of them. According to him, living a Christian life coupled with our human nature was somewhat a mixture between truth and self-destruction.
His wife also shares her experiences living and coping with a drug addicted spouse. As his journey proceeded, he carved a way through all the ups and downs and was able to translate failure into what he called success.
