Author Biography

Christel aka author Zye'Riah Storme was born in Milwaukee, WI. She grew up in a musical family; is number 9 of 10 siblings and currently sings with her 2 daughters and 2 sisters in a Gospel quintet. Christel earned an Associate's Degree in Performing Arts and is currently a playwright and author. She has performed in theater productions and independent films across the country. She wrote, "The Home Emergency Survival Guide" during her time as a starving artist, and later published "What U Do To Get 'Em, You Better Do To Keep 'Em", an autobiography of her experiences while in an interracial relationship. Christel love's working with children and is currently pursuing her BA in foreign language arts. She plans to use her bilingual skills in sharing the performing arts with young people of her community and other cultures.
